   Thankful.

   Lord thank you for saving me. Even though everyone else including me didn’t see the worth in myself, you came and sought after me. Thank you for so humbly coming after the salvation of my soul. I love you. I am head over heels for you. I cannot exist without you. My life would be a meaningless existence without your presence in me. The air would become stale and old, food would have no taste, laughter would have no sound, and friendships would serve no purpose. Thank you for seeing the beauty and value in me when all I ever saw was ashes. Thank you for loving me beyond any other love. Thank you for coming to rescue me even when I rejected you and didn’t believe you. Lord I want to do all of these for you too. I want to see the beauty and value in your people when no one else does, I want to love your people beyond any other love, I want to rescue your people even when they reject me and You. Father, I have so many things to be thankful for, the list would never end. Father, please draw closer and closer to me everyday, I want to smell the sweet scent of your fragrance, I want to hear your soft whispers in my ears, I want to feel the embrace of your arms protecting me, and I want to feel the rich beating of your heart. I want to know you, Father. I want to know the things that are on your heart and mind. I want to be the one that will bring a smile to your face. I want to be the one that sits on your lap and spends time talking about eternal life together. Thank you for adopting me as your daughter. I am the luckiest girl in the world.
